David started school last Wednesday. Even on the way to school that morning, he told me that he doesn't like school and he didn't want to go. I was stressing, thinking he may throw a fit when it was time for me to leave. Quite the opposite though! When he and I walked into his classroom his teacher asked if he remembered where his desk was (we went earlier in the week to drop off supplies and meet the teacher). He went straight to his desk, put his nametag on and looked at me as if to say, "What are you doing here!". I asked if I could take a picture of him and he said yes, as long as I leave right after. So I did! He rode the bus home from school and loved it! I'll post the pictures later. He still doesn't know any of the kids names in his class, except a girl name Sky! He tends to gravitate towards the girls! :) He is enjoying his new school - still hates the uniforms, but likes the school. It is sooooo convenient. This Friday, is Banana Split day. Brad is donating the stuff for a big banana split party. David is super excited!
David has another loose tooth. He has been wiggling it since Sunday morning. He wiggled it too much in church and it must have hurt him - he let out a loud yelp! He cleaned his room up really nice yesterday so the tooth fairy wouldn't trip on her route to his bed.
Yesterday was Brad's birthday. David picked out the Spiderman cupcakes for him since they had the coolest rings on top of them. Christopher practiced singing Happy Birthday all day for Brad. It was the cutest thing. His vocabulary is increasing every day. I can't wait to bring him back to the pediatric neurologist that diagnosed him as being mentally retarded!!!! Of course, we have had his follow up appointment rescheduled four times now (by her!). I'm not concerned about his developmental disabilities much anymore and have put it on the back burner. His speech therapist is amazing and he really enjoys it when she comes over to work with him. In January, he literally could not say three words (not even Moma!) and now he is putting three and four word sentences together and counting to seven!!! We are still working hard on his enunciation, but he is defiantly catching up to the "healthy" kids his age. He is such a little trooper. ....oops, my ADD kicked in and I'm off on a tangent again...back to Brad's birthday! Last night we all went to the Japanese Hibachi Grill. It was so yummy. David loves going there just so they can throw food in his mouth. It is (well..was) one of the few nice restaurants that we could bring the boys too. They used to love to watch the chef cook on the table. Christopher went into terrified mode last night when the chef made a huge fire on the table next to us. He covered his eyes in fear the rest of the night! We came home and sang happy birthday to Brad and ate some yummy cupcakes!!
Jacob is getting older too! He'll be eighteen months next week. He just hit a growth spurt and is looking less like a baby. He is starting to speak a lot (wordwise and timewise!) He loves to be outside, no matter how hot it is out there (or if it is raining!). Christopher opened the back door for him the other day in the middle of the afternoon showers and before I could run out to catch him, Jacob was standing out on the patio in the rain smiling!
Brad is at home with the boys today while I am working. He just mentioned that he has been on the phone with Dell (the computer people) for over an hour and he thinks the computer is fixed! I'll try and update the pictures this evening after David's open house at school.

Christopher
Christopher is two and a half years old very affectionate little boy. He loves to jump from the coffee table onto the couch and loves to watch Mickey Mouse. Christopher was born with four heart defects (overriding aorta, pulmonary stenosis, hypertrophy and a large ventrical septal defect) that were repaired by "Superman", also known as Dr. John Mayer at Children's Hospital in Boston.
Jacob
Jacob is one and half and the youngest of "My Three Sons". He is very active and LOVES to play outside. Jacob's favorite animal is a dog and he calls every four letter animal a "dog". He takes advantage of Christopher's speech therapy and is speaking very well for his age.
